LWML (www.lwml.org) is the place where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.  As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.  LWML worldwide has supported Christian outreach and human care projects in more than 71 countries on 5 continents and has given more than $127 million to missions.  Together, LWML ladies participate in Bible studies, leadership training, and build lifelong friendships with each other.

All women who are members of Prince of Peace are automatically members of LWML, even if they do not attend.  Therefore, any woman is warmly welcomed at any level of participation, even just one meeting a year.  Monthly meetings feature Bible studies, speakers from different ministries, and service projects such as assembling care kits.  The women of LWML build strong friendships at these meetings and participate in regional, state, and national LWML events.  There is often dinner or dessert at the meetings!

Prince of Peace LWML is part of the Texas District LWML (www.lwmltxdist.org), which exists to equip all women of the Texas District through inspiration, education, and discipleship, enabling them to reach others with the Gospel as they live in service to the Triune God.  Prince of Peace sends offerings to the Texas District, which funds biennial grants.  In 2020, the Texas District LWML funded more than $210,000 in ministry grants.
