We have partnered with Academy 4 at McWhorter! Academy 4 (https://www.academy4.org/) connects churches to schools and communities through mentoring 4th graders in leadership in economically disadvantaged schools.  Volunteers serve together once a month for 90 minutes and mentor the 4th graders in leadership.  They express love and care and provide the students with a positive relationship with a dependable adult.  Academy 4 provides training, easy to follow mentoring curriculum, and fun activities to enjoy with every 4th grader.  Academy 4 is now in 40+ Title 1 schools.  Volunteers come together and serve for 90 minutes, one Friday, once a month during the school year (September – May).  Please consider being a mentor. You do not need any experience.
